SURPRISE! We spent a couple of nights in the forest here. The park had a nice train-themed bar/restaurant and a pool surrounded by the local resident kangaroos. We hiked around an old volcanic crater and spotted our first snake of the year! A little red-bellied black snake crossed the path right in front of us.
